FOTD: On my Lola's 85th and being with family.

These past few months have been jam-packed with celebrations. Of course we can count Christmas and New Years as a part of that, which constitutes a whole lot of picture taking as well. Coincidentally a bunch of birthday celebrations were part of all the January hoopla, and this year, as the title suggests was my Lola's (Grandmother's) 85th birthday. The event happened yesterday and we decided to celebrate it in Makati Sports Club. We invited a couple of her closest friends from college, her prayer groups, parish, and of course family. Before I forget, all photos in this post were taken by my dad.

I just stumbled upon this on facebook and I must say that I'm really really excited for it. I missed last year's, heard a couple of good stories about it so I'm definitely hitting it up this year. Are you guys excited too?

Hello 2012; welcome to my life.

I've always been a strong believer of "following through". When it comes to relationships, planning, dreaming, or sports even; following through is the thing that gets you to score. To some, the hardest part may be starting, but to me it's the "follow through" that's always a pickle. It seems so easy to have a goal in mind. You formulate it, start acting on it yet you never seem to have enough energy to push through with the plan.

So with the start of a new year in mind, I come bearing resolutions. Freshly brewed, hot off the press in my mind, and here I am hoping to high heavens that I follow through with them.

Resolution #1: Start writing again. Start writing with soul, again.

Here we go. New year, new blog! How very timely indeed.

I hope you all had a wonderful Christmas and an amazing 2011. May the best of last year, be the worst of this year! And if you do have a couple of resolutions in mind, well let's just all follow through together shall we?
